TicketSwap supports official ticket resale for Die Toten Hosen's "Trink Aus! Wir Müssen Gehen" tour

Berlin, 22 April, 2026 – For Die Toten Hosen's "Trink Aus! Wir Müssen Gehen" 2026 tour, TicketSwap will be used as the official ticket resale channel. This gives fans a legal way to safely pass on personalised tickets if they can't attend a concert. For TicketSwap, this represents one of its biggest concert tours globally to date, as part of an official artist partnership.

Since their formation in 1982, Die Toten Hosen have been among the most successful German bands and have a large and loyal fan base. More generally, high-demand tours tend to fuel resale markets, where tickets are sometimes offered at significantly inflated prices. At the same time, tickets for major tours are often purchased months in advance, meaning plans can change and some fans are no longer able to attend. TicketSwap aims to offer a transparent and, above all, secure way for fans to transfer their tickets in these situations, giving others a fair chance to attend.

To keep things fair, TicketSwap caps resale prices at 120% of the original ticket price. This way, sellers can still recover their costs if plans change, while buyers are protected from extreme markups and invalid ticket purchases through unauthorised ticket marketplaces. The goal is simple: if you can’t make it, your ticket should still go to a real, validated fan, not a scalper. TicketSwap ensures a seamless, secure experience every step of the way.

“We are proud to welcome Die Toten Hosen as an official partner on our platform,” says Christoph Radjeh, Region Lead DACH at TicketSwap.

“Our mission is to connect fans safely and fairly with live experiences while supporting event organisers and promoters with a trustworthy resale solution that, in addition to a clear price cap, also ensures the re-personalisation and inclusion of the ticket terms and conditions for the buyer. Having seen the band live at Rock im Park as a teenager, this partnership feels especially meaningful to me.”

“It’s important to us that our tickets stay with the fans. If someone can’t make it, someone else should have the chance to be there, without inflated prices or uncertainty when buying,” say Die Toten Hosen.

Already active in Germany, TicketSwap now also supports official resale for events with hard-copy tickets through this partnership – marking a first for the platform in the German market. Sellers can upload an image of their hard-copy ticket, the old barcode is automatically invalidated, and the buyer will receive a new, digitised version of the ticket.

With Die Toten Hosen choosing TicketSwap as their official resale channel for the “Trink Aus! Wir Müssen Gehen” tour, this partnership reflects a broader move towards greater transparency and clearer structures in ticket resale in Germany.
