Amsterdam, 13 May – Le Guess Who? – one of the most forward-thinking festivals spotlighting global talent – is extending its partnership with TicketSwap, the leading platform for safe, transparent, and fair ticket resales. The collaboration, which began in 2022, will continue for another year with a renewed ticketing strategy: tickets can now be resold for up to 105% of their original price (covering the face value plus a 5% service fee). This agreement supports Le Guess Who?’s inclusive mission – celebrating musical, cultural, and geographical diversity.
Reliable resale experience
Thanks to the updated strategy, visitors can continue buying second-hand tickets with confidence. Through TicketSwap’s SecureSwap system, each resold ticket is automatically cancelled and replaced with a brand-new, personalised one, ensuring tickets can’t be duplicated and are always linked to a single user. As part of our renewed partnership, this trusted system remains key to delivering a safe and fair resale experience.
Barry Spooren, Head of Marketing & Communications at Le Guess Who?, says:
‘With rising costs affecting both festival organisers and visitors, ticket prices are under increasing pressure. Last year, we introduced Low Income Day Tickets – a scheme we’ve extended into 2025 – and we’re continuing to work with local partners like U-pas and CJP to keep LGW accessible and affordable. This collaboration marks another important step in that effort.’
Oscar Kriek, Director of Partnerships at TicketSwap, adds:
‘Le Guess Who? doesn’t just push musical boundaries – as a non-profit, it also shows how to make culture accessible to a broad audience. That’s something we’re proud to stand behind. By capping resale prices at 105% of the original, we make sure buyers pay a fair price while sellers recoup their costs. It’s our way of helping keep non-profit culture within reach – not just for those who can afford to pay a premium.’
Le Guess Who? is an international music festival that takes place annually in Utrecht, at a variety of unique locations across the city. The festival is all about musical discovery – inviting visitors to open themselves up to new sounds, genres, and cultural influences. Its line-up largely features artists who are still under the radar. Diversity and inclusivity are at the heart of the festival, both in the programming and in the backgrounds of the artists, who travel to Utrecht from all over the world.
Le Guess Who? 2025 takes place November 6–9 in Utrecht. Find out more at leguesswho.com.
